Ed's bird work

Ed created this gorgeous and inspiring bird a few years ago. He has been working on birds during the summer. We love the customers who are avid birders, and who know the bird species.

Ed made these birds last summer. We took them to the Cleveland Bazaar (Christmas) -- and while they did well (they sold out), I miss them!

Playing with words...

I had these channel bezels for a long time, and recently  played around with inserting some meaningful words inside. They are sealed with a resin...I am excited about the look!

Winter studio

Ed doesn't let the cold weather get him down; in fact, it seems to motivate him. I wish I could do the same in this cold winter weather! Here is the latest project. We just finished our studios upstairs - they are motivating places!

Valentine's Day Art...

 

 In getting ready for 2013, I have put together some pieces that highlight the "love" - I am particularly smitten with the  look of pearl --  and even polymer...and how this contrasts with fabric and metal.

 Ed has been at it again in the studio (it has warmed up a bit) -- here is a beautiful image from last winter:

I am really having a blast with these - here is the latest. The tricycle is in silk with a dress shirt and muslin making up the rest of the fabric.
